Fix my PC - windows update stuck, fan runs most the time

i have a core i7 pc with 16 gb ram and 1tb SSD. my PC is running super slow...... some issues i know 1. i can't access system info - error says "MFC42u.dll contains an error" 2. a windows update won'tupdate. tries to install everyday but cant 3. cooling fan revs up too often. 4. i have 20 tabs open on chrome and it is slow to switch between them. theres been no change in use, its just been slow this past few weeks. need this fixed, i cant work like this.

My Asus e3410 laptop just updated to latest Windows update yesterday. Now it can't get past the update screen. Stuck in boot loop. Turns on, says please wait installing, then restarts and repeat. Cannot run safe mode as it comes up with error: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION
