1. I recently had new carpet installed in one room, which is thicker than the previous carpet. The bottom of the door needs to be trimmed slightly so it doesn't wear down the carpet. 2. The handle on my kitchen drawer is loose and needs reconnecting. 3. The hinge inside a kitchen cupboard has snapped and needs replacing. I can provide any small items necessary (eg a new hinge), if I'm told what I need to buy. I don't have the necessary equipment to plane a door. Jobs 2 and 3 are likely quite straight forward. I've just bought a drill, so I'd appreciate if you could teach me as you're going, so I can learn do these things myself!

I have a wooden door that needs a cat door installed into it. I have purchased the cat door already. I had a guy coming to do the job, he installed the first one in the screen door but he didn’t turn up this time. The wooden door is solid on outside and not so much on the inner “window” bit where the cat door needs to go. Thank you!
