I have wood rot in the window frame and need a solution to fix and repair it. The rot goes right through to the other side of the frame. I also need the frame to be cohesive and painted to look like my other window frames.

I’m looking for an experienced handyman or tradesperson to reseal a small section at the base of an internal aluminium window frame, where it meets the slab. This is a standard internal sealant job using an MS polymer or Sikaflex-type sealant (from my research).I will cover materials if needed. I’m preparing our house for sale and need an experienced, professional painter for prep + touch-ups. The home is occupied, so protection/cleanliness matters. Proper prep is important (sanding/de-glossing/patching + spot priming where needed, masking and drop sheets) and I want a clean, tidy finish with no obvious repairs. Timing: Sat 31 Jan / Sun 1 Feb (can extend to Mon 2 Feb if needed). Priority 1 (must-do): - Sand back and repaint 4 window frames (some faces only; some multiple faces). - Ceiling touch-ups where water-damage repairs have been completed (small areas if possible; advise if larger repaint needed to avoid flashing). - Repaint around A/C where a smaller unit was installed. - Patch + touch-up specific holes/dents and scuffed corners/edges (I’ll point these out). Priority 2 (if time allows): - Walk-through touch-ups: cornices/coving + any additional small holes/scuffs you identify. Optional extra (separate price): Sand/prep + paint the outside of the front door + side panel (photo attached). Please provide a separate itemised price for this (not included in the main quote unless I confirm), so I can decide whether to proceed. Current skirtings are gloss beige, I’d like them all white or Grey - TBC. Current window frames are also beige and I would like these white or grey too. 10 doors 1 sliding door frames 13 windows various Skirtings through out a standard 4 bed, 2 living room house.
