Need a temporary repair as cannot afford complete window frame replacement currently. The window frame is on second floor and needs cleaning out and bogging to limit weather damage

The sil and jamb definitely need replacing, hardwood behind inspected before closing up.

We are looking to engage a painter ideally with experience spray painting aluminium window frames. The process is time consuming as it involves significant preparation, including cleaning of frames, sanding of frames to roughen surface, secondary cleaning with methylated spirits (or similar solvent) and taping of surrounding areas to avoid overspray. The task involves a couple of facets: - remove,repair / replace 15-20m of damaged ant capping on the bottom weatherboard of the house ( typical photos attached) - remove and repair 6-8m of bottom weatherboard with moisture damage and paint current colour ( typical photos attached) - remove and replace moisture damaged window sill and adjacent weatherboards. It appears the source of water is a backward draining flashing at top of window, this needs to be rectified, resealed and everything painted current colours. You supply all know how, tools, and labour and I will refund you any materials you need after you inspect and confirm.
