I'm looking for a qualified carpenter or experienced tradesperson to replace a rotted timber window frame in a bathroom of house. - The glass window itself is intact and doesn’t need replacement. - Replace any seized hardware (hinges, handle, lock) so window opens/closes smoothly and locks for privacy - only if necessary - The timber frame and sill are heavily rotted and causing the window to swell and jam — it can’t be opened or closed properly. - You'll need to remove the existing rotted frame, supply and fit a new timber frame, re-seal, and paint it to protect from future moisture damage (obviously ensuring that it now opens and closes properly)

Require weather board to be added along on to timber frame to cover opening. Weather board will be rendered over eventually so just need this opening covered to ensure water doesn’t come through. Height of window is appx 4.5 metres so you will need a long enough ladder or something

Painting a front door inside and out, including doorway trim. Note the trim around the window above the door will also need painting. Painting a back door inside and out, including doorway trim. Painting 2 casement windows, each approximately 1.1×1.5m, inside and out. Note one of these windows is approximately 5 meters above the ground. The quote should include any preparation required including scraping off peeling paint, sanding and priming. These steps will be particularly important for the outside-facing window frames, which are more weathered. Paint (but not equipment) can be provided.
