Take down Venetian blinds and put up roller blinds. Whole job shouldn't take more than 20minutes i just dont own a drill or the time

The Venetian blind in our living room no longer locks/stays up when raised. The lift cord appears to have stopped engaging with the cord-lock mechanism, so we currently have to use a heavy object to keep the blind raised. Please inspect the blind and repair or replace the cord-lock mechanism so that the blind can be raised and securely stay up normally. Prefer someone experienced with Venetian blind repairs. Please advise if the cord lock can be replaced rather than replacing the entire blind.
