In the process, have identified a few other cracked tiles which need replacing - some are close to ridge cap so would need re-cementing etc. (gunmetal dark grey color). ** Below leak issue has been addressed. Have a tricky roof leak issue in tiled and sarking roof. It only happens during the consistent heavy rains and it’s quite minor - a small amount of water seeps through one of the downlight holes in a room. The tricky part is that the leak is under the solar panels. I’ve already got the tiles inspected which are under the panels and they are good. I’ve engaged with a couple of roofers in past and they are not able to investigate properly as the issue still remains. It’s probably a quick/minor fix but the troubleshooting part is tricky. Probably need to get into the roof with water sprayed on the roof to check. I want to fix it properly so need to know what’s the approach.
