Task 1: Replace/Repair 4 terracotta stormwater drain points * Drains 1, 2 (Soft Ground): Dig down slightly (~20-30cm) in garden soil, cleanly cut back fractured/tilted clay pipes with a masonry grinder, and adapt to fresh 90mm PVC using flexible rubber couplings (Fernco/PlumbQwik) with clean finishing collars. * Drain 3,4 (In Concrete - See Photo): Two terracotta point is cast directly into a concrete path. It has an open, broken collar seal. Instead of digging this one up, I want the gap cleanly filled and sealed using heavy-duty hydraulic cement/structural mortar to redirect water smoothly into the line. * Materials for Task 1: Tasker to supply 3x rubber adapters, PVC sections, finishing collars, and a small tub of structural mortar/cement. Task 2: Diagnose and fix rainwater leak roof gutter * Scope: Find the source of rainwater tracking down the timber patio beams beneath the corrugated roof sheets (see attached photos). Fix it by replacing degraded roofing screws/washers, clearing debris, or applying clear exterior roofing silicone/flashing tape. * Materials for Task 2: Tasker to supply relevant roofing silicone/tape/screws. Requirements: Please state your experience with both roof leak repairs and terracotta transitions when making an offer. Please bring a ladder and a grinder for the clay pipes.

Looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to repair, properly prepare and fully repaint the timber bargeboards on both front gable roofs of my single-storey house. As shown in the photos, the bargeboard on the right-hand gable has come loose slightly at the end, with some nails/fixings coming out. The existing lining/flashing between the roof tiles and timber has also lifted slightly and needs to be put back neatly in place. Work required * Repair: Re-secure the loose bargeboard on the right-hand gable, replace/re-secure any loose fixings, and reposition the existing roof lining/flashing neatly. * Sand & prepare BOTH entire bargeboards: Properly sand and prepare the entire painted surface of both bargeboards, not just the visibly damaged areas. All loose, peeling or deteriorated paint should be removed and those areas sanded back properly. Remaining sound painted surfaces should also be sanded/scuffed to provide good adhesion for the new paint. Full stripping back to bare timber is not required unless necessary. * Prime where required: Apply suitable exterior timber primer to all exposed/bare timber and anywhere else requiring primer before painting. * Fully repaint BOTH bargeboards: Apply suitable exterior paint in a matching dark brown to the entire visible length of both bargeboards on both front gable roofs, not just the repaired/damaged sections. I don’t expect the timber or roof lining/flashing to require replacement. The intention is to repair the existing loose section, properly sand and prepare both entire boards, prime where required, and fully repaint both boards for a proper and lasting finish. The house is single storey. Photos attached showing the areas and current condition. Please provide your own ladder/access equipment and tools. Please specify whether your offer includes paint, primer, fixings and all other required materials.
