We have 5 ducted cooling vents in the ceiling of our home that we want to have closed with plaster. We have 2500mm high ceilings in a 25yr old house. Photo attached shows 2 vents with cardboard to temporarily block air passage. We want a clean and professional finish and want it ASAP. Questions welcome.

Repair works: 1. Recrangular a/c vent will be replaced with a circular one, currently placed on top inside the roof. And patch/repair celling around the vent including cracks. 2. Some cracks in ceiling in other 3 locations.
