Update: sorry I didnt detail the task properly before. Those vents need to be removed as well, I'll leave the ducts in the roof so just the opening needs to be removed and plastered. The plasterboard around skylight is cracked and peeling due to possible water damage, panel, and some exposed rotten wood at the edges. Fix the ceiling around this skylight. I will paint it myself.

Remove this device from the wall. Plaster it / apply primer / paint same colour at the rest of the wall.
