We’ve done the rest of the house few years ago but thought this would look good natural. Unfortunately it’s hard to upkeep with a baby sleeping under it and prefer it painted white. With experience from the other wood it needed 3 coats of paint as the yellow was coming through the colour. Anti mould paint would be great just in flat/Matt white ceiling paint. I like the grooves in the wood so I don’t want it sanded down. All gaps in wood to be filled in with no gaps. Zinsser low odour preferred as stain blocker Whole area: 2060x 3050 Professional painter preferred In photos you’ll see my bed on the other side of this small area. I have a rollaway cot under it which is on wheels
