Hi, I have a commercial wood fired pizza oven at my restaurant that needs inspection and possible repair. The oven has multiple cracks inside the dome/refractory area, and I’m concerned there may also be cracking on the outer structure. The oven is built into the wall, so the external dome is not fully visible or accessible. There are also signs of wear and damage around some internal components. In addition, when the oven is lit, smoke tends to come out into the kitchen/dining area instead of being extracted properly, so it seems the oven may not be drawing or ventilating correctly. I would like a professional assessment to understand: * whether the oven can be repaired safely * what repairs are required * whether there may be an issue with the flue/extraction/draft * and whether repair is more viable than replacement I’m looking for someone experienced specifically with commercial wood fired pizza ovens. RANDWICK A couple of months ago, my dad and I installed a new electric hob. The connectors were a bit tight and my dad had to make/remake the connections a few times until they worked. Now the hob/oven has stopped working again, so I imagine someone just needs to redo the connections (I'm not a licensed electrician, but I can be present to turn electric off, help get oven out to get to the connections, etc). I imagine we'll need bigger connectors than what we currently have.

The knob for the timer on my oven came off the other day. The shaft has fallen back out of sight. I can’t work out how to get the front panel off to fix the issue? Managed to budge it a little to pass the shaft back through the hole but can’t fit the knob without it falling back in.
