I have a Macbook air which has been sitting in its box, and I need someone to set it up for me. I have a portable hard drive, with data that was taken off another older computer, and I wanted it set up with this files.

My son’s MacBook Air has stopped working, when he turned it on it showed a file image with a question mark. He would like to recover his music that he records as well as other data for uni. I don’t know the model it’s at a computer repair shop currently. They were unable to recover the data recovery it sounds like the SD chip in the hard drive is okay but the hard drive itself is not. I will be able to provide the model number tomorrow after I pick it up.

Update current Catalina is to new os on MacBook Air 2012. Current versions are currently not supported. I have already tried open patcher but it fails.
