Need front and backyard ground levelled

I am doing a DIY retaining wall in the front yard, I am concerned about digging too close to or damaging any underground utility line. Can someone help me identify right spots to dig holes without damaging anything. I have registered at Dial before you dig, but their maps make no sense to me. Also would need consultation whether these maps are sufficient or would I need a detailed document from the companies ? The wall will be 30cm high from side walk, so looking to dig accordingly (20-30cm underground).
