Looking for an experienced handyman or curtain installer to supply and install floor-to-ceiling curtains around the walls of our podcast studio in Melbourne. We currently have timber acoustic wall panels and want to create a second, interchangeable studio backdrop using light cream/off-white curtains that can be pulled across when needed and opened to reveal the existing timber walls. Back wall is roughly 5m, both side walls roughly 3m. So 11m total. Scope of Work: - Supply and install curtain tracks along the studio walls, including corners. - Supply and install light cream/off-white curtains with a soft, premium look and natural folds. - Curtains should run from just below the ceiling to the floor. - Curtains must be easy to open and close so we can switch between the two studio looks. - Ensure a neat, professional installation suitable for a filming and podcast studio. Ideally looking for a heavier fabric that looks premium on camera. (Also happy to source our own curtains if that's easier) Would prefer a continuous track system that allows curtains to move smoothly around corners, but not essential I've attached photos of the current studio and AI mockups showing the desired result. Scope of Work: Expansion/Articulation Joints: Replace the deteriorated caulking in the vertical expansion joints along the exterior brick walls. Needs to be sealed with a high-quality flexible exterior sealant (like Sikaflex 11FC or similar). Minor Mortar & Brick Cracks: Seal several hairline cracks, stepped cracks, and small gaps in the brick mortar joints across various parts of the exterior walls. This can be done via minor repointing or using a matching flexible exterior brick/mortar sealant. Note for Tasker: I have a few photos from a building inspection report showing some examples, but there are multiple fine cracks around the house in addition to the ones pictured.
