Hi, I'm looking for a quote to install 7 x 2 (double) roller blind units in the main living area of a residential property in Glen Iris. The blinds have been supplied by DIY Blinds and are ready to be installed. Photos of the windows are attached. Each unit consists of a blockout and a sunscreen paired together on double slimline brackets with Somfy Altus 28 1.5nm wire-free battery motors. Some blinds are to be face fitted and others are recess fitted - full specifications can be provided at the time (though let me know if you would like this info now) All motors also need to be programmed to operate with the provided Somfy Telis 16 RTS pure remote. All blind components are provided - no supply required, labour and programming only. Additionally, there is also an existing blind (third picture) where the blockout blind is further from the window than the sheer blind and the blockout blind rolls down forward rather than backwards. I'd like the blockout blind to be closer to the window than the sheer blind and for the blockout blind to roll down backwards so that it is the same as the setup in the fourth picture. Doorknob Installation / Replacement – 3 Doors (Labour Only) I need a handyman to install and/or replace three doorknobs. What’s needed: • 2 x doorknobs to be reinstalled (cavities already exist, hardware on hand) • 1 x doorknob replacement (existing knob to be swapped out, new hardware provided) All three doorknobs are ready to go. This is labour only – no parts needed. The job should take no more than 30-45 minutes for someone with the right tools. Ideally looking for a handyman who can come during the week or on a weekend morning.

Nail in loose wall panels and repair cracks on the wall. Cracks are mainly above the first floor window. Which will require a 5 metres long ladder.

So, im terrible at DIY and all that jazz. Looking for someone to attach my double rod curtain with the curtains. All parts are included apart from wall fitting and screws.. looking for a tradie who could do this, hopefully bringing screws/fittings/drill .. you’ll have to be drilling into brick, and there’s a slight awkwardness with the wall (see attached image) let me know :)

What I need done • Remove loose plaster ( most had been done) • Cut back to solid surface • Base coat to rebuild • Mesh/tape reinforcement • Finish coat + sand smooth

I need 3x jobs done, 2nd floor apartment in Glen Iris. Ideally Sunday 29/3 or Wednesday 01/4. 1. Fix leaky kitchen tap, dripping consistently. 2. Fix or change shower head that is spraying water. It is functional but water is spraying in different directions rather than coming straight out. This is a new shower head so I think it either hasn't been installed properly or is not appropriate for this shower. 3. Secure loose carpet edge. A small area of carpet has lifted off the ground and I want this secured back down, the edge is around 1.5m long. Happy with whatever the cheapest way is of doing this.

We're having new carpets installed and need someone to remove, plane, and reattach 20 internal and external doors across 3 visits. The doors currently rub against the existing carpet, so they'll need to be planed before reattachment to ensure they clear the new carpet. Schedule: 1. Wed 8 Apr – Remove all 20 doors and plane as needed so they won't rub against the new carpet. 2. Thu 9 Apr (afternoon) – Reattach approx half of the doors (priority being 4 (2 x double) external doors). Plane if needed once fitted against the new carpet. 3. Sat 11 Apr or later (date flexible) – Reattach the remaining doors. Plane if needed once fitted against the new carpet. The external doors are the priority for quick reattachment for security and weather protection, which is why they're scheduled for the day after carpet installation. Please quote for all 3 visits. Roman blinds don’t go up properly as the clips have broken. Hoping to find someone to repair these. Possible?

I have 5 windows exterior 2 large and 3 small single panel to be sanded back and stain reapplied twice. Will need to return on 2nd for 2nd coat. I will supply stain system marine grade. Must have experience doing painting staining and prep etc

I need a handyman to fix 2 things: 1. The sliding mechanism on a drawer is stuffed and the drawer is very hard to pull and push. I would prefer the mechanism got replaced. 2. The mixing tap in the kitchen sink is getting hard to turn on and off (it feels very tight).

We are experiencing issues with our outdoor blinds/awning, as they can no longer be closed properly. They appear to be an auto spring type. Initially, we thought the issue was due to their age and applied some WD-40, which helped the shade drop down but did not resolve the issue with closing it back up.
