Hi there, Our building inspector suggested we get a licensed plumber in to check out a damp issue at the property my partner and I are looking to buy. There are a couple of leaks in the bathroom, from the shower head, between the shower screen and the wall, and the main concern is the dampness showing up in the bedroom wall (right next to the bathroom) we’re not sure what’s causing it. Happy to send through the full report too, as it lists a few other minor plumbing-related defects. Thanks

Remove existing spacers used to secure pet divider to wall, then re-secure pet divider to wall using either two small timber blocks or one vertical piece of timber to plug the gap between divider and wall and using bigger screws and plugs than existing, so the wall hooks do not come off the wall. See photos.

Affix a garden gate latch (byo screws). Also fix a sticky garden gate and a front door twist knob lock that no longer turns. Photos included. Probably will only take 10-15 minutes.

My driveway entry gate is not functioning properly and needs attention/service. It’s an automatic sliding gate powered by a Tau K100M motor. See photos. The gate will not open without manual effort as the cog on the motor will not grip on the gate frame (to pull and slide it open). It closes no problem. I have a video that shows this clearly. I’ve examined the parts and there doesn’t appear to be any wear and tear causing this.

Hey team! We have space for our dogs underneath our stairs which we need a safety door / gate installed, it has to be one that allows airflow for the dogs when they sleep at night. The issue is - the baby gate we have doesn’t fit the minimum requirement (620 wide door) and i am not a handyman whatsoever We are needing someone to make up a custom gate either using what we already have or something new (open to suggestions) I am also aware of this being a bit more expensive if extra things are needed to be purchased. I need assistance replacing the rotten wood and re-hanging a gate that has collapsed. The wood on each side of the gate that is attached to the fence and the house is completely rotten and needs replacing and re-attaching. The gate will then need to be re-hung and aligned. The gate and each bit of wood that it is attached to are approximately 210cm tall.

Per hr rate offered TBC Our garden gate has swollen or dropped and the lock doesn’t line up. Inset to doorway / wall that is older so might be that side that has moved and not the door

Hi, gate fell off due to strong winds a few weeks ago. The timber on the wall that was connected to the gate completely ripped off. Need to get a new timber and drill it onto the wall and connect the same door on it

The wooden post holding the gate up has rotted at the base and needs to be replaced. The rotted post is on the right in the pictures. The recycling bin is holding the fence up. I’m not sure of the cost for something like this and will review all quotes.

Need someone experiemced to supply and install replacement timber piece to the steel frame gate. Hawthorn

1. Remove the current sliding gate & motor 2. Dig a trench, including removing existing paving 3. Concrete a strip of ~5m x 40cm that will be the foundation of the sliding gate rails. The ground slopes, and so the concrete will need to match the slope. -- No need to replace the gate (we will get a separate gate specialist)

We had a gate installed down side of house for dog and need to remove it as moving out. It’s screwed into fence on side but also has a pole put into concrete in ground (not a lot but prob easiest if metal pole can be cut through and we bury the concrete). - Due date: Before Saturday, 25 November 2023
