Remove and dispose of the existing Rheem Stellar gas storage hot water system. Replaced with a Rheem 26L Gas Continuous flow water heater: 50c model The gas connection will need to be increased from the meter from Rp ½ to Rp ¾ The new system is to be located in the same position as the existing, resulting in minimal pipe work aside from lifting the gas / water pipe work by approximately 1.6m The gas pipe from the meter will need to be changed from ½ to ¾ diameter over a length of 5 meters. The photo shows that the surface to be opened is soil and stones. There are no obstructions making it easy to replace the existing Rp ½ gas pipe.

Pipe insulation is important to reduce heat loss. Thickest closed cell foam suitable for outdoors is required for external pipes. Please specify the make and thickness in your quote. The new system is to be located in the same position as the existing, resulting in minimal pipe work. Further, it will fit the existing foot print and input pipe dimensions. Access is good. Your quote should include all costs and GST.

Cooktop gas regulator is inaccessible. Requires relocation to an easily accessible location in order to complete mandatory gas safety checks as per AS/NZS5601.1.
