The Issue: • I noticed water staining on the carpet in my Walk-in Robe, which shares a wall with the shower. • The wall and skirting boards feel dry to the touch, but the floor is wet. • I have lifted the carpet and found: 1. The carpet tack strip (gripper) is rotten, black, and moldy. 2. The nails are rusted. 3. The underlay is a bit wet and moldy.
