I need an experienced carpenter/decking professional to repair a section of my timber deck where the subframe supporting the glass pool fence has rotted. The existing glass fence is secured to the deck with metal spigots. The timber underneath some of these spigots has deteriorated and needs to be properly replaced so the fence is structurally secure. Scope of work: * Carefully remove the affected section of glass pool fencing and spigots. * Remove the necessary decking boards to access the subframe. * Remove the rotten/deteriorated structural timber. * Supply and install suitable treated/structural timber to rebuild the affected section. * Replace the few decking boards that are rotten/damaged. * Reinstall the existing decking boards that are still suitable. * Reinstall the existing glass pool fence and spigots securely and correctly. * Ensure the fence is straight, stable and properly supported. * No oiling, staining or varnishing required — I will arrange this separately. Important: This is not simply a decking-board replacement. The underlying structural subframe supporting the pool fence needs to be repaired/replaced. The majority of the existing deck, glass fencing and spigots are to be retained. The exact extent of the subframe damage can be confirmed once the decking is lifted. Hello! Can anyone help me with a timber floor that’s damage due to a water leak / moisture. I have moved a tv unit that was on top and discovered the damage. I have no idea how to fix this or where to start. Please help me.

We have hybrid flooring in our townhouse and a few tongues have slipped out of their grooves. We have 5 spare boards that we want to replace the worst spots with. It would be removing trim, replacing the damaged boards and then replacing the trim. The townhouse is pretty narrow, so none of the boards that need to be replaced would be more than 50cm away from a wall.

We've just removed the carpet from my room, revealing hardwood floorboards underneath. The tack has already been removed, but we need them polished and restored. The room is about 5.0M by 3.5M, and I'd appreciate someone with experience in restoring floorboards.
