Velux VSE Skylight Clean & Service — 2x Flat Roof Units (Redfern/Surry Hills) Description: I have two Velux VSE electric flat-roof mounted skylights (505 x 505mm, approx. 10 years old) on a top-floor apartment on Bourke Street, Redfern, that need a thorough clean and service. Looking for: Someone with relevant trade/technical experience, ideally with Velux products specifically, to carry out the following: Clean glazing — inner and outer panes Clean outer frame unit Remove insect screen and clean separately (if removable on this model) Clean and re-lubricate the chain mechanism General check of the unit's condition/operation while up there Access: Roof access is straightforward — via installed walkways, ladders and stairs. No roof ladder required. Internal access may not be required, but if needed, note the skylights sit at the top of a 3.3m shaft — you'd need to bring a suitable ladder for that. Happy to assist from inside the apartment on the day (e.g. opening/closing the units via remote) if that helps avoid needing internal access at all. Requirements: Must hold appropriate insurance (public liability, and working-at-heights cover as relevant) — please provide a copy ahead of the job, as I'll need to submit this to building management for roof access clearance. Experience with Velux or similar flat-roof electric skylights strongly preferred. Our solar installer installed a Dektite on the overlapping joint of the Klip-lock roof sheet. It's leaking, so we need to relocate the conduit and install a new Dektite. We will remove the Dektite, and the roofer needs to install the flashing to make it water tight.

I would like an Easyshed 1.5m x 1.5m x 2.1m Flat Roof Shed installed and fixed to the existing pavers. Assembly under a rear pergola. Fixing kit supplied, also install one skylight supplied. The installation date is flexible, and the shed is currently on the way from Albury, with expected arrival around 18th or 19th August.

I’ve purchased an Easyshed and need someone to assemble this at the side of my house. The dimensions are 2.25m x 1.5m with a 1.83m height. I have also purchased concrete fixings for the shed to be installed with. I have elderly parents so would appreciate if this is done with transparent fees (i.e. don’t charge less to get the job then tell me more required in person). Honesty will be appreciated (and likely more work). A few screenshots of the installation space are attached. The wall it will sit against is 3m so plenty of clearance but want to keep a bit away from the gas meter which needs to be accessible at all times.

Roof repairing flat roof few patches need to fix nicely

"Hi, I have a 15-panel flat metal roof system with JA Solar panels. Because it's installed at 0 degrees, water is heavily pooling and the panels are sagging in the center. I do not need a full structural tilt frame retrofit right now. I am looking for a licensed professional to simply elevate one side of the existing mounting rails by roughly 5 degrees using basic structural block spacers/risers so gravity can help drain the panels. Please let me know your estimated cost for labor and basic compliance testing."

Looking for an experienced wood heater installer to install a new Scandia Supremacy 300 indoor wood heater at my home. Installation required this Tuesday. I will supply all components, including: * Scandia Supremacy 300 Indoor Wood Heater * Scandia 4m Black Sleek Flue Kit * Scandia 250–380mm Tin Roof Flashing The heater location has already been selected. Ceiling height is approximately 2.15m. Scope of work: 1. Position the wood heater in the nominated location. 2. Measure and confirm the correct flue position and required clearances. 3. Cut the required opening through the internal gyprock/plasterboard ceiling. 4. Cut the required opening through the flat metal roof. 5. Install the flue kit correctly through the ceiling and roof. 6. Install and properly seal the roof flashing to ensure the penetration is fully watertight. 7. Complete the wood heater/flue installation and make sure everything is secure and correctly installed. 8. Leave the work area clean and tidy. All components will be onsite and ready. I expect the work to be relatively straightforward and approximately 2–3 hours for someone experienced with this type of installation. Please only make an offer if you have previous experience installing wood heaters and flue systems through metal roofs. When making an offer, please briefly confirm your experience with wood heater installations and whether you can attend on Tuesday.
