Looking for someone handy to do a very basic, low-cost repair to an old timber boundary fence and remove the pile of branches/garden waste shown in the photos. My budget is genuinely quite small, so I am not looking for a new fence, professional restoration or anything cosmetically perfect. I just need someone to: * Push/straighten the existing fence back roughly into position. * Secure it so it isn’t leaning into the neighbour’s property. * Close up the larger gaps so my young kids can’t get through. * Screw/nail existing timber back together where possible. * Patch any obvious gaps with old/recycled palings or inexpensive timber if needed. * Remove the pile of dead branches and garden waste. * Leave the area reasonably tidy. Please reuse as much of the existing fence as possible. Second-hand/recycled timber is completely fine. I don’t care what it looks like as long as it is reasonably secure and safe. I understand the fence is old and this is only intended as a temporary/basic repair. Very limited budget – please only offer if you’re happy to come up with a simple, economical solution.

I have two garden gates that are currently wooden and damaged, and I need them removed and replaced with new Colorbond garden gates. The approximate dimensions are 194 cm high by 86 cm wide. Because I am not a professional, there might be about a 5% margin of error in my measurements, so I would need you to come out to do a precise measurement after accepting the job before proceeding with the installation. The door seems to be shifting away from the door frame. As a result, the latch is becoming more and more misaligned with the strike plate, making it difficult to lock properly.

I’ve just had my house restumped and the front door is getting jammed. Need someone to fix it so that it opens and closes smoothly. The back gate is also not opening/ closing and needs a few more screws in fence to secure it. Let me know if you can help

Description I need a handyman to fix the alignment of the latch on outdoor gate. As shown in the photos, the latch and catch are currently not lining up correctly. I knocked the gate catcher for our shared driveway mechanical gate. Not the gate itself, that's working fine. I've realigned the catcher and everything is working with no issue but I think the bolts have come loose in the brick and are potentially slightly bent. It seems secure enough now but I'm looking for someone that's familiar with these gate catchers to come and properly secure it flush with the bricks as I don't want the catcher to come loose over time.

The transmitter has been tested and is working correctly, so there is a break somewhere in the boundary wire. The majority of the boundary wire is clipped to a wire fence around the property perimeter, making it accessible for inspection. The gate stopped locking properly because the latch tongue is misaligned with the recess. See photo. Inspect the gate and provide a quote.

I need my wrought iron garden gate secured. I have two mini daschunds who can climb through it under the gaps in the metal work.
