We need few Electrical work in our house (Single Story), would like to have a complete quote ( price breakdown ) without any hidden cost from a licenced electrician, we will accept the most reasonable offer by end of today as I need to get this job done as soon as possible ( ideally this week or early next week) 1- Main Switchboard Upgrade Upgrade the existing main switchboard, which is outdated and lacks separation of circuits. Add individual circuit breakers for key areas of the house. Include a dedicated 15AMP circuit with its own breaker to power a new EV charging point in the garage. The main board is located on the wall shared with the garage (back-to-back setup). 2- Install 15AMP Power Point in Garage (EV Charging) Install a 15AMP single power outlet inside the garage. Location: On the wall shared with the main board (see photos for reference, window location may help for orientation). Wiring should be short and direct due to proximity. 3- Appliance Replacement – Oven and Cooktop Disconnect and remove the existing electric cooktop and oven/grill. Install new units of equivalent size and specifications (to be supplied by us). 4- Downlight Replacement (Halogen to LED) Replace the following halogen downlights with LED downlights with plug bases (for easier future replacement): Living room: 4 , Kitchen: 4 , Lounge: 6 (plus 1 additional new downlight to be added) 5- Replace Smoke Detectors Replace 2 existing smoke detectors with compliant new ones. Current ones are wired and have backup batteries also. In addition to Cooktop and Oven, we can supply all the other materials if needed or happy if you do this with a reasonable price. we have a few other electrical works ( minor ) around the house , which we can talk about them in person to be done with additional costs. Need clear cost breakdown for these 4 items , covering detail of the task and cost .

I need two light switches in my apartment to be replaced.

We are making a few changes to the house. The house is 2 storeys and also : 1. Installing AC and cat5e wiring to each window. We will be installing Somfy RS485 driven blinds. The motors require AC wiring for power, as well as cat5e cabling to carry an RS485 signal back to the garage where there is a controller. There are 10 windows where the motors will be installed. 2. Installing DALI LED drivers and new downlights. The bedrooms in the house only have a single light in the centre of the room, we'd like to replace these with 2-4 downlights in each room. We already have the DALI cabling, LED Drivers and Power Supplies. I'd ideally be looking at two separate visits to get the work done however it makes sense to have them done close together as on the ground floor there may need to be holes made for access to pull cables to the right places. If you can also patch the holes, please also provide that cost separately. Not sure if this is relevant, but the house previously had a central vacuum system where the ducting is still in place (potentially this could be used with a drawstring to get new cables to some of the rooms?)
