Install Electrical In-Wall Digital Timer Switch Existing control Switch and description of Use 1. The sub-floor ventilation system consists of two motors, one servicing the front of house bedrooms (Blauberg 150mm) and the other motor (Blauberg 200mm) servicing the Kitchen/Living room areas. 2. The system was installed approximately 2 years ago during a major renovation of the house by the previous owner. 3. The builder did not provide any service floor manholes, which means access to the motors and possibly timers is not possible. The house floor height above ground is approx 350cm and no access to the sub-floor is possible. 4. Both fans are controlled manually by an isolation switch and require the new owner to turn the fan on/off each day. Description of proposed work 1. Supply and install a suitable replacement for the existing isolation switch with a 7 Days Digital in-Wall Programmable Timer Switch 2. Set up the new In-wall timer to operate for 12 hours each day from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

I have a dedicated circuit labeled "Existing Power" (older section of the house) where the RCD keeps tripping. All appliances have been unplugged, but the switch still trips. The switch stays UP for a few seconds before flipping. I am looking for a licensed electrician to perform a fault-find (including an insulation resistance test if needed) and repair the issue.
