Current setup: * Existing gas cooktop being replaced. * Existing power supply already available at cooktop location (currently used for ignition/auxiliary power). * Single-phase house with 80A main switch. * Approximate distance from switchboard to cooktop is 10m. * Switchboard and cooktop photos available. * New cooktop load is approximately 7.4kW and requires hardwiring. Objective: Seeking the most practical and cost-effective solution. Preference is to reuse the existing cable route where possible and minimise wall, cabinet or other building modifications. Scope of works: * Review supplied photos and advise likely installation method. * Confirm required circuit and cable size. * Supply and install dedicated cooktop circuit if required. * Supply and install appropriate breaker/RCBO. * Reuse existing cable route where practical. * Hardwire ASKO cooktop. * Test and commission installation.
