I am wanting to update a total of 20 switches/ PowerPoints in my house. They’re all working and this is just cosmetic. Two switches are dimmable but I just want them to be normal switches. Additionally I would like an archaic 40yo alarm system to be removed. It is not working and the previous owner has cut some of the wires more than 30 years ago. It looks like it connects to some old systems in the roof (manhole is just adjacent). I only want a nice cosmetic result where all the wires are gone. I suspect just needs to be unplugged in the ceiling. Looking to get this done asap. I don’t know if it’s easier if I source the switches/ PowerPoints or if you have them ready already.

The unit is approx. 4 years old, likely a DHF 13 AU or similar model. 🔧 Issues: In winter, hot water doesn’t activate unless multiple taps are open In warmer months, hot water fluctuates mid-use The unit uses a two-step selector dial (clicks to either one or two white dots), corresponding to preset temperature levels: One dot = Eco (~40–45°C) Two dots = Full (~50–55°C) The problem occurs even when set to full heat, so I suspect a flow sensor or pressure issue. ✅ What I’d like done: Test and clean the flow sensor Inspect water pressure and flow rate Clean any internal filters or screens Confirm that the heater is activating correctly on both dial settings I’ve attached a photo of the unit for reference.
