Looking for a licensed electrician to supply and install a faulty power point. The power point has two standard outlets plus one dedicated switch that connects to a wall heater. Preferred time is Wed 13th 8am-1pm.

Bathroom had two Crompton halogen spotlights (GU5.3/MR16 base, 12V low voltage system). Both stopped working simultaneously no chipped breakers no burnt smell both bulbs replaced with brand-new ones but still no power. There is a wiring box in the ceiling cavity (too large to remove through the fitting hole) that may be relevant. We live in an apartment in Chatswood. Looking for a licensed electrician to diagnose the fault and fix it. Should be straight for a job likely a failed transformer or wiring issue upstream of the fittings.

The air conditioner is still operating normally. We noticed water leaking through the cornices while the painter was doing the painting work. It has not rained since last Tuesday, and the only thing the painter did was run the air conditioner for approximately 10 hours during the hot days. Based on this, we believe the issue is caused by the air conditioner rather than a roofing problem. After the area dries, if we run the unit for only a couple of hours and then turn it off, there is no leakage. We suspect the issue may be caused by one of the following: • The outdoor unit drip tray has rusted through, or the drain is blocked, causing overflow after extended use. • The drainage pipe may have been installed incorrectly or may be tilted the wrong way, preventing proper water flow. Are above issues can be repaired, or if they indicate that the unit is beyond repair. The system is over 10 years old. If repairable, could you please provide a quote for the required work? In your quote, if the unit is not repairable or the repair cost would be uneconomical, please advise the cost to completely remove the system. I do not intend to install another air conditioner in this second-storey weatherboard room, as it has caused ongoing issues. Once it is removed, I will likely use a cooling tower fan instead.
