Connect to the existing stormwater system on site; exact connection route and detail to be determined by the installer on site. • Drainage / projection: roof falls away from the house into the continuous outer gutter. Finished projection may extend slightly beyond the nominal 1200 mm to accommodate the fascia/edge and gutter. Gutter fall is independent of the 1 degree roof fall. Roof fall approx. 21 mm over 1200 mm Outer edge drainage 115 Quad gutter; fall toward right-hand/toilet end Result Very shallow roof plane; approx. 21 mm fall reads visually almost flat. DESIGN INTENT A single long, skinny rectangular canopy. Left edge stops at the brick reveal beside the spare-room door; The existing toilet occupies the right-hand 2020 mm portion. The gutter downpipe here seems too small to take all the rain, so when it rains the water banks up in the gutter and overflows rather than going down the downpipe. Can the down pipe be replaced by a larger one and oriented a little better than the existing one?

The downpipe needs to be relocated to the other side of the pillar, facing the rear fence. Ideally, the existing downpipe can be offset/re-routed around the pillar, rather than disconnecting and relocating the roof connection. I’m happy for the pipe to be angled around the pillar as required to achieve this. We have already installed a soak well on the ground at the other side.
