I have a hp spectre which keeps aggressively blowing out air and the base is heating up. It suddenly forced shut down a few days ago and told me there was a problem with the cooling fan. Hi there, I borrowed a friends MacBook Pro. 2015, to use for study, but…in resetting and trying to upgrade to the most recent and available operating system, I managed to completely wipe the hard drive / operating system. I don’t need to recover any files or cloud or ye olde Time Machine but I do need to have more than a blank screen. The task needs to be done in person. Thank you.

Have a firewalla gold SE. Unable to install despite multiple efforts with Firewalla support. Experience with Firewalla installation or similar will be useful - knowledge of router and bridge modes will be useful. Also have home mesh wifi system which may help. My ISP is AGL, I’ve got a modem from them (tp-link VX230v, and the type of nbn connection at my apartment is FTTB. I’ve been unable to locate the phone jack, I’ve tried all of the rj45 ports at home and none of them had been able to set up a dsl connection.
