During the initial visit, the NBN technician advised that the fibre cable cannot be installed through the current internal pathway because there is no draw wire inside the existing conduit. To avoid running an external cable (which looks untidy) and also move the modem to a completely different location , I am looking for a licensed electrician/telecommunications technician to: Use the existing phone line/conduit Remove or work alongside the old cable if required Install a draw wire / drawstring from the external NBN junction box to the internal modem location Ensure the conduit is clear and ready for NBN fibre installation Once this is done, the NBN technician will return and use the draw wire to pull the fibre cable through. This is a preparation job only (no fibre installation required). Alternatively, you can can straightaway put the correct type of FTPP cable instead of the drawstring, if it's more feasible. Our is a 2 storey house and I have attached a ground floor plan so that you know that red dot represents current t modem location and blue arrow represents external nbn box location. I have been trying to up date from Win 10 to Win 11. I understand i need enable TPM 2.0. Each time I get to Bios and settings the interaction freezes as open settings. The display also shows Chinese characters in part while the rest remains in English characters. have tried various approaches to this problem. I even thought it may be the particular monitor not displaying correctly but swapping made no difference. I have just about given up - Win 10 works fine on the PC that I assembled myself a few years back. I decided to seek help. If this can be fix remotely I be quite OK with that. I have NBN with provider TPG. I’ve upgraded the service for a higher speed which meant I needed to upgrade the router to a netgear nighthawk ax3000. I need assistance getting things up and running. Getting to the final stage where vlan settings are required to be enabled is causing an issue where the wifi connection drops out. Hello I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 (PF3PXWW8) that I use for my research on ending discrimination in children's sport. It is 3 years old and needs an upgrade and clean. I can obviously purchase the memory, but need someone who is skills with computers to do the install and also help me clean up any unnecessary processes on the computer. The challenge: I use the computer all the time and can't drop it off at a shop for 24 hours... and have heard bad things about the people who come to your house (really hit or miss, depending on who they send).
