Laundry bench need to remove or cut off

There are water stains and a patch of mould on the ceiling of one room in my house. I want to find the water leakage point. I suspect that some tiles on the roof are cracked and need to be inspected.

Our deck needs to be stained. Not 100% sure of the dimensions , we will buy the product. We need it to be washed, cleaned and the coats applied. Needs to be sanded and a few coats.
