Fix lawn mower cord on my lawnmower

Our oven suddenly had no power after attempting to turn it on. The ignition for the stovetop also doesn’t work. The circuit breaker for the power line leading to the oven tripped into the off position when this happened. I called Westinghouse given this was within the warranty period for the oven and their technician visited today but said that I need to call an electrician as he believes there is an issue with the wiring into the wall (see picture - the oven itself is apparently fine). There is no powerpoint for this oven - as you can see in the pictures, the wiring goes straight into the wall. Keen to have a qualified electrician check this out and restore power so we can use our oven.

Bubble test at the gas meter shows no bubbles. We still smell the gas inside the house. Gas fitter can't pinpoint the issue. We need to find source of the gas leak.
