The water connectors (drain) in the new house are different in the new house than the previous one. I bought a "nut and tail" connector at bunnings, but that connection just made a wet mess all over the cabinet. I have no experience with plumbing, so i expect this will be a very simple/quick job for someone who actually knows what they're doing.

I’ve just purchased a second-hand Fisher & Paykel front load washer (model WH1060P1), but the power plug is bent and cannot be plugged into a standard wall socket. Would you be able to both safely cut and replace the plug with a new standard 10A plug, and test the appliance to ensure it’s safe to use? Happy to send through a photo of the damage if that helps.
