I'm looking for a skilled tradesman who can alter a laminex bench to accommodate a new cooktop. The existing cut-out is a tad too small, and we need an extra 100mm in width (from the back to the front of the bench) for the perfect fit. To achieve this, we're looking at slicing off an additional 50mm on each side of the current cut-out, and potentially shaving a few millimeters from the opposite side as well. The new cooktop is positioned right next to the cut-out, which should make it easy to take accurate measurements before making any cuts. I need someone who has the right tools and experience to handle this job with care and precision, ensuring that the cooktop sits flush and secure in its new spot.
