Require someone to fix a Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine (front loader). When a wash cycle is turned on it spins for a short period of time and then stops and states error on the screen. The machine is then filled with water and will not drain.

We have an AEG washing machine and dryer. We bought them second hand and they’ve never really worked amazingly. The dryer doesn’t fully dry your clothes and our washing machine stopped working yesterday with an “E10” error. Hoping to see if they can be fixed as I know AEG are usually a good brand.

The unit is mounted against the outside wall and has a gas connection and an exhaust connection through the wall into the side passage. The feed line for the gas runs through the side passage and is accessible. We want this unit to be disconnected only, and the existing gas connection to be replaced with a bayonet connector (if the location is ok by Australian guidelines). We are happy to keep the disconnected unit if discarding of it is more expensive. All works are on the ground level in owner-occupied house.

Note external wall is double brick and is located on a second storey within an apartment building. Externally it is located to a side wall which is used as a services area. Centre of duct is 800mm from wall. External vent is to include an insect cover. Intention is for vent to be located in rear corner above cabinet (to rear of plant shown in photo). Our remote is not working to control the blinds in our bedroom. This has happened a few times over the years. Battery still working- see green light picture. We have a small and larger blind that is controlled from this remote.
