My hair straightener works, but I need to hold the cable at the base attached to the plug on a hard right angle for it to turn on and remain on. Assume the cord or plug needs replacing. It is a GHD straightener

I think it is the motherboard but not sure. Price as 111 as I don’t know what the problem is yet
