My gas stovetop (Smeg 4 burner) keeps igniting /sparking even though I’m not pressing down the knob. Flames lights if gas is let through. I have switched off of the electrical plug to stop the clicking for now. I was using 2 burners, then tried to turn on a 3rd when the continuous clicking happened.

I need a licensed gas fitter to install a new 60cm 4 burner gas cooktop (Esatto ECG604WS, natural gas, cutout 560 x 490mm, bought from Bunnings). It replaces an existing Electrolux 60cm induction cooktop. - Existing gas supply is capped off in the cabinet under the sink (from a previous gas cooktop). Photo attached. - Remove the induction cooktop and fit the gas cooktop into the existing benchtop cutout. - Connect gas, leak test and commission all burners. - The induction cooktop is hardwired, so it needs to be safely disconnected, and the gas cooktop's electronic ignition needs a 240V power point under the bench. Please confirm if you can do the electrical part or if an electrician is needed. - Provide a Victorian Certificate of Compliance on completion. The cooktop will be on site. Photos attached.

Benchtop is being replaced to need my stove cooktop and sink disconnected and removed before Monday morning. Then after Monday morning, need stovetop reinstalled and kitchen sink and tap installed

I'm replacing the existing kitchen bench so I'll need the services dicconected and reconnected with the new cooktop, sink & tap.

Looking for a licensed gas plumber/gasfitter to inspect and repair our gas cooktop. The burners are igniting normally while the control knob is pushed in, however the flame goes out as soon as the knob is released. This appears to be happening across multiple burners. Looking for someone to diagnose the issue and repair it if possible during the visit. Please include your call-out/labour cost and any likely additional costs for parts.

The kitchen cupboard next to the stovetop smells like gas (the gas piping runs through this cupboard). It's unknown where the gas is leaking from. It's been turned off at the mains for now. We need someone to inspect it, find out whether the gas leak is, and repair it. Licensed gasfitters only.

I have a free-standing gas cooktop / oven that was removed when the floors of my villa unit were sanded. I now need to have the unit re-installed and fitted off again. The unit is sitting just out in the courtyard and it requires being lifted in up 1 small step and then back into its original position. The kitchen is next to the back door. The property is about to be listed on the market and photos are being taken on Thurs 20th August, so the job needs to be done ASAP prior to this date.

The knobs on my Technika gas stove get stuck and occasionally don't turn. Needs to be repaired and all 4 knobs need to be replaced. I do not have replacement knobs so, happy to pay additional cost replacement knobs. Stove top has not been serviced or repaired since I moved into this property in 2019. *6/7/26 - Update: 4 knobs now do not turn at all. Even removing the plastic knob cover, the metal rod (?) underneath also doesn't turn when using a wrench. It appears to be an issue with the cook top itself. I have broken one of the plastic knobs trying to turn it, so ideally want to replace all 4 now.

One of the burners of our gas stove is not working properly. The flame is not holding up.

Need kitchen sink, gas cooktop and tap disconnected for kitchen demolition and complete removal. Need them all completely removed to within wall cavity. Please note that gas has been fully disconnected from the property, so there is actually no gas running to the cooktop. It just needs to be removed to any point within the wall.
