Hi everyone, ​I’m looking for a fully licensed Plumber and Gas Fitter to help finish off a kitchen update in Point Cook. ​What needs doing: ​Rangehood Ducting: Install 150mm wide ducting to the external brick veneer wall and connect it to the undermount rangehood. A core drill is required to create a clean hole through the external brick veneer wall. The duct path is an L-shape (up out of the cabinet and turning left, as marked in the picture) running about 1.5 metres to the brick wall. I will supply the complete ducting kit, including the external wall cowl. ​Gas Cooktop Swap: Disconnect and remove the old 60cm Technika gas cooktop, and install and commission a new 60cm Westinghouse unit into the existing benchtop cutout (this may require minor alterations to the cutout to fit the new cooktop). Standard gas safety and leak tests are required. I will supply the new gas cooktop. ​Requirements: ​Must hold a current Victorian Plumbing & Gas Fitting Licence. ​Please provide a VBA Plumbing Compliance Certificate upon completion of the task. ​Please bring all required professional tools, including a core drill for the brickwork.

I have a gas cooktop where 3 out of 4 burners work perfectly. However, one specific burner is not sparking/igniting automatically. Note: If I use a manual BBQ lighter/match, the gas flows fine and the burner lights up safely, so the gas line is working. It seems to be just the individual ceramic igniter pin or wire for that specific burner that needs fixing or replacing. Looking for an experienced appliance repair technician to come diagnose and fix/replace the faulty igniter part.

I have purchased a WESTINGHOUSE 60cm Induction Cooktop WHI635BE from Good Guys to replace a current gas cooktop. I have measured cut out of current gas cooktop which is the same. Need a gas plumber + electrician to disconnect gas connection and install new cooktop. No modifications to benchtop expected. The current gas cooktop is plugged into a standard electrical outlet underneath it. Must provide appropriate Certificate of electrical safety.

Hi, I’m looking for a licensed gas fitter to inspect an already installed gas cooktop. Just need a quick check of gas connections, leaks, and overall safety/compliance, and a compliance sign-off if all is okay. If required, a gas isolation valve may need to be added underneath the cooktop. A cement sheet has been installed behind the tiled wall for heat protection due to slightly reduced clearance (around 125mm). Original installer is unavailable, so just after a routine safety check for peace of mind. Location: Melton west, 3337

Need to disconnect and block off gas stove. Also check for leaks while in there so it’s not left dodgy, but also shut off mains as gas is no longer needed. I’m getting the stove removed the following day hence the deadline. Can be any time on Tuesday from 9 until late. Other info: single story home, about 80 years old.

Hi everyone, I am looking for a licensed plumber or gas fitter to permanently disconnect and cap the gas line to my broken cooktop so I can safely have an electric induction unit installed later. My current setup is a standard 60cm gas cooktop sitting directly above a Westinghouse electric wall oven. The gas is currently turned off at the main valve and the benchtop is laminate. I need you to safely disconnect the broken gas cooktop and permanently cap the gas pipe behind the oven. You will also need to test the line to ensure there are absolutely no leaks and issue a VBA Gas Compliance Certificate, which is mandatory for me to proceed with the electrical stage. Please leave the decommissioned cooktop sitting in the benchtop cutout once disconnected. My electrician will remove and dispose of it later to ensure dust and debris do not fall into the exposed oven casing in the meantime. You do not need to do any physical removal or electrical work.
