I need an experienced appliance repair technician or handy electrician to look at my Smeg slideout rangehood (Model: SA550/2-P). The Issue: When I turn the fan switch on, the motor makes a humming/buzzing noise, but the fan blades do not spin at all. The lights are still working fine. Suspected Problem: Likely needs a new start capacitor or a total motor replacement. Please bring your own tools and a multimeter to diagnose the electrical components. If any specific Smeg spare parts are required after diagnosis, we can discuss picking them up or adjusting the task budget. Our fridge/freezer is making a constant very loud noise and producing a lot of ice. We have defrosted it and removed all the ice but the noise is getting worse. The noise seems to stop when the door is open but otherwise is constant. Brand: Fisher & Paykel

Our washing machine is running through the full cycle but stops right at the final drain stage and turns off. We then have to manually drain the pipe from the front to empty it.
