Like several people with panasonic TV I have had the flashing red light. I have tried tried switching off the TV for 5 minute at the main power. Then on the side of the set, holding the down program arrow button in and pushing and holding the on/off switch for 30 seconds as per the on line guides. It needs a replacement part as no fixes have worked.

My Samsung 51" model code# PS51D450A2MXXY, version N105, has recently been turning on & off by itself when i try to operate the TV. It eventually turns on but only after many attempts.
