installing sliding mirror doors in a garage. the mirror doors are 2.7h x1m width and there’s three of them. top and bottom rails supplied but they will need to be cut to size. they are 4m in length and need to be cut to 3m. task is levelling the bottom rail on the concrete floor with shims etc, and installing the top rail directly above so the doors slide smoothly. will need to relocate the stoppers after cutting. happy to pay a little more if you’re also willing to collect the doors/tracks from lysterfield south and bring with you to job in bundoora. the actual installation shouldn’t take too long for someone who knows what they’re doing. make an offer

I need an experienced door installer/carpenter to supply and install two plain white budget doors in the existing frames. Both doors are approximately 2030 H × 820 W mm. Standard 2040 × 820 doors may need trimming. Please confirm the exact size and thickness before purchasing. 1. External door: Supply the cheapest suitable plain white, pre-primed solid-core flush door. Remove the damaged door and transfer the existing lock, handle, latch and hinges. Add or replace a hinge if required for the heavier door. 2. Internal door: Supply the cheapest plain white, pre-primed hollow-core flush door. Remove the damaged door and transfer the existing handle, latch and hinges. No pet door is required. No raw timber, patterns, decorative finish, painting or colour matching. Please seal any cut edges of the external door. Offer must include both doors, purchase/pickup, delivery, materials, trimming, lock/hinge cut-outs, installation and adjustment. Old doors can be left onsite. Quote frame repairs separately.

I have 4 IKEA Billy bookcases (3 regular, 1 narrow) that are built but need anchoring to the dry wall with appropriate screws. I have the screws and brackets but not dry wall specific anchors (no studs) and no live wire detector so would be needing these supplied by the Tasker. Also there are 3 doors that need to be attached as per the IKEA instructions that I figured I may as well request with the job. BYO tools please and ideally looking for someone with experience.

I'm looking for someone to inspect and adjust my front entry door. The door appears to be uneven/misaligned and is allowing air and draughts to come through. I have tried installing weather stripping to reduce the gap, however this has made the door difficult to open, close, and lock properly. I'm looking for someone who can assess the issue, realign or adjust the door if required, and ensure it seals as correctly as it can while still opening, closing, and locking smoothly.
