Budget :$400 ( Inspection + possible minor repair. Full reno can be quoted separately) Bathroom floor feels slightly sunken in one area, and timber floor outside the bathroom has swollen. A licensed plumber has already inspected all stormwater drains + external pipes and confirmed all fine. Possibly an internal leaking pipe, grout/ seal failure or waterproofing problem. It now looks like the moisture may have affected the timber subfloor area. My housemate tried DIY changing a blocked sink pipe and water leaked out of the pipe and dripped through the floor to the ceiling underneath. I need a certified plumber to install some new pipes under a bathroom sink and ensure that it doesn’t leak. And also apply some waterproofing around the pipe exit hole. And make sure the sink is flowing well and not blocked. See pics below.
