I have a large full length window in my room and I am getting slugs in under the window sill because the upvc sill has been installed on the top of a wooden one, so I need it removing and sealing and a new piece of sill putting back. I also need a draught exculer putting on the door both inside and out.

Before having a new door fitted. I need to make safe the mains powered door chime. This will not be used moving forward. It doesn’t have a separate switch on the consumer unit so I need to make safe the wiring. Wago clips or the like. This will allow me to use the wiring at some point in the future. Current plan is to use a battery powered doorbell in the future.

We have just moved into the area last week, and everything for our bed is already upstairs except for the headboard. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be carried up the stairs due to its size and the bend in the staircase. There is a window-style door in the room through which the headboard could be brought in easily. I am looking for someone who can lift it up safely (using a pulley or crane) and place it inside the room. If possible, I would also appreciate help with assembling the bed once the headboard is in place. Additionally, there is a small fixed frame in front of the window that is secured by four bolts. I believe this can be removed temporarily to allow access and then refitted afterward. Could you please let me know if you can help with this and provide an estimated cost? Thank you,

We have a very old garage door that has been blown open by the wind and we can’t get it shut. It may need replacing altogether but we’d like it down for security of the house while we look into replacements.
