I'm looking for a handyman to permanently secure a camera tripod desk mount to my desk. The original clamp doesn't fit the desk edge properly because of the desk design. I've temporarily reinforced it with Gorilla Tape, but it softens in the heat and the mount eventually collapses. I need someone to assess the mount and securely fix it to the desk, most likely by drilling through the thin metal plate on the clamp and fastening it to the desktop with suitable screws, bolts and washers. I'm open to a better solution if you have one. Please bring the appropriate drill bits and fixings if possible. I'll send a short video and photos before you come so you can confirm the best approach. The job is in Tottenham (N17) and should only take around 20–30 minutes for someone with the right tools. Radiator has pulled away from the wall. Looks like the rawl plugs gave up on it. I've filled the holes behind the radiator, but it's propped up by a chair now, still connected to the pipes at the bottom. Will need draining, new screws and rawlplugs fitted, rehanging and a quick test.
