We have 4 internal wooden doors that don’t shut properly, it’s a period property in Hove. I would like help aligning them properly so they all shut and stay shut properly. Also need to replace the door handles.

Updated: • Removing vegetation/debris from around the building and affected areas • Bagging up vegetation and loose debris neatly • Breaking down and bagging any leftover loose materials from the previous clearance to help create additional space • Boarding/securing the rear opening using treated OSB/plywood • Sealing accessible internal gaps/openings where suitable with exterior sealant/foam • General tidy up of the working area once completed

Front door frame has been damaged around the lock/strike area (see photo). The timber is split and missing, so the door no longer locks securely. Looking for someone to: Repair or rebuild the damaged section of the frame Reinforce the lock/strike area (so it’s secure) Refit/align latch and ensure door closes properly Make good (fill/sand) – painting optional

The front door to my flat needs upgrading or a new door fitted to meet FD3OS fire door standards. I have a report detailing the upgrades required, they include the following. - Maintain or replace self closing device - Reduce the door gaps - Fit cold smoke drop down seal - Augment the panels using an upgrade kit - Fit intumescent strips - I'm trying to decide if it's worth upgrading the current door or just have a new one fitted. Sliding wardrobe door fix

I have a set of four sliding glass doors in the bedroom. One of the doors had a bottom roller sheer off and ordered a replacement for that part. That needs fitting and the other doors need tweaking till it all works without grinding noise. Track may need reattaching to the floor in one third of it. Sounds worse than it is, someone who gets the doors will probably find it a quick fix. Happy to supply additional details on request. Able to be flexible as I work from home

My kitchen door won’t close over my new rug. The kitchen door needs approx 1cm removing from the bottom of the door.

We are buying a house in Portslade, Brighton and want to turn the garage into a spare room. The first stage of this is to convert the current garage door into a wall with a double glazed window fitted. We would not require the inner face to be plastered at this stage, but the wall would need to be constructed to a similar or higher specification to the current outer wall of the rest of the building - circa 1935 semi-detached residential (ie dual layer).
