I need help fixing a fridge door that won’t open. During a house move, the plastic door stopper on the top hinge became wedged and is now locking the door shut. We tried to remove it ourselves, but a piece has snapped and is still stuck inside the hinge. The job will involve: • Unscrewing the top hinge bracket • Lifting the door slightly to remove the broken stopper piece • Re-seating the door and screwing the hinge back in It’s a straightforward job for someone handy with a screwdriver and should take about 10–15 minutes.
