I’m looking for someone experienced in furniture vinyl wrapping to update the appearance of a built-in wardrobe in my bedroom at Townfield Gardens, Altrincham. The wardrobe is approximately 2.5m wide and has around six existing doors. I want to transform the current doors using a realistic wood-effect vinyl wrap, ideally in a natural oak, walnut or similar wood finish. Scope of work: * Inspect the existing wardrobe doors to confirm they are suitable for wrapping. * Clean and prepare the door surfaces thoroughly. * Supply and apply a good-quality, durable wood-effect adhesive vinyl. * Achieve a neat, consistent finish, paying particular attention to edges, corners and the wood-grain alignment. * Remove and refit handles where necessary, with care taken around the existing fittings. * Refit the doors and ensure they open and close properly. The intention is to refresh the existing wardrobe rather than replace the doors or the wardrobe itself. Please include in your offer: * Vinyl material and labour. * The vinyl brand/type and available wood-effect finishes. * Whether door removal and refitting are included. * Any additional costs for difficult edges, repairs or unsuitable door surfaces. Please send examples of previous furniture or wardrobe wrapping projects. I would particularly like to see examples of convincing wood-effect finishes. I can provide photographs of the wardrobe and its doors before the job is agreed.
