Hi, I’m looking for an experienced handyman to assemble and make ventilation modifications to an IKEA PLATSA wardrobe installed against a solid brick external wall. The goal is to improve airflow behind the wardrobe to reduce condensation and mould risk, and to allow access to power outlets installed in the skirting. Scope of work includes: 1. Assemble the wardrobe 2. Cut ventilation holes in the base unit (underside / floor of wardrobe) and in the back panel Holes must be neatly drilled, evenly spaced, and safe for the wardrobe structure. They need to align with skirting-mounted power outlets, allowing access (require modification to the base unit). Light sanding/sealing of the edges where the holes were made will also be needed.
