I need an experienced decorator to repair and repaint the ceiling in my son's bedroom. The ceiling has an old water stain from a leak that was repaired several years ago. The area is completely dry and the stain has not changed for years. The ceiling was previously repainted, but I don't believe a stain-blocking primer was used, so the stain has bled back through. The job will involve: Preparing the damaged area (scraping/sanding any loose paint if required). Treating any surface mould if necessary. Applying a suitable stain-blocking primer/sealer. Filling/sanding any minor imperfections if needed. Repainting the entire ceiling with two coats of white ceiling paint. Please provide all materials, including stain-blocking primer, ceiling paint and any fillers required. Please only quote if you have experience repairing water-stained ceilings. Extreme care must be taken to avoid any drips or damage to the newly installed resin-bound boundary area. Requirements: Must be capable of working independently and unsupervised. Careful, tidy, and experienced with exterior wood treatment. Regular updates via WhatsApp during the job, including photos of completed work prior to payment being released.
