Replacing the ceiling light in my bedroom and ceiling rose Photos are of the replacement items in boxes and the old/current units. I have a small ladder but a taller one might be needed for the bedroom ceiling light. The bedroom ceiling is approximately 10 feet tall.

Change the battery in a smoke alarm

Smoke alarm battery needs changing. It’s on a high landing ceiling 3.3 metres tall and I don’t have a tall enough ladder. You will need to bring a long ladder, use a flat headed screwdriver (which I will provide) to remove the alarm from the ceiling, replace the battery (which I will provide) and then refit the alarm into place.
