Hi, I live in a tower close to Stratford station. Suddenly there is no hot water in my shower or other taps which has been working perfectly fine all along. I’m not sure if there is any issue with the HIU unit or what. Need somebody to come in and fix the problem.

Hi there, I’m having an issue with my thermostatic mixer shower. The temperature control dial isn’t working correctly – even when it’s set to “1” (cold), the water still comes out hot. Also, when I increase the water pressure using the left dial, the water suddenly becomes even hotter. I think it could be a problem with the thermostatic cartridge or water pressure imbalance. My previous plumber seemed to think all the water could be switched to the mains (currently it’s only the cold kitchen tap that uses water directly from the mains and so never runs out and has great pressure). For now I just want that confirmed. I’m flexible with times but need mornings. Also toilet isn’t working properly as a result of the bad gravity system so please go before you come so you won’t need to use it.
