Paving and lay fake grass garden

We would like to replace the grass with fake grass and paving. As you can see, the current grass is in somewhat of a circular shape in one corner - we'd like to make the fake grass extend a bit further out over the non-grass area to create a rectangular shape. We'd like paving along the left and far edges of the garden. Currently you can see there is a weed membrane there - I believe this will need to be removed before we do the paving - but please let us know your thoughts. I have already removed a large chunk of bamboo under the ground - hence the hole in the far-right corner of the yard.
