Need to screw floorboards in loft room as they are really squeaky. The room has been emptied apart from the cupboards which can be moved whilst working. Carpet partially lifted too. Carpet will be refitted by carpet fitter. Ill be on hand to help. Lastly need clear sillicone around shower mixer. Need it done on monday 9th march.

My floor was laid three months ago, but the ground wasn’t levelled properly first. This resulted in a small dent in the flooring in a main walking area. The LVT floorboard has now cracked, unsurprisingly. I want the gap underneath levelling, and the floorboard either replacing, or the split made good.

Need glue removing from my bamboo floorboards

We have 2 bedrooms with carpet and have underfloor heating. We would like to change the carpet to Amtico flooring like the rest of the house.

I have laminate floorboards. They've been shifting around. One has come up and the foam under is torn very slightly. I have replacement boards if necessary but this one needs to be refitted. I am also looking to find the source of the problem to see if I need to book a more serious repair.

Making good where any boards are in bad nick (generally the floor is in very condition). Taking great care where there is skirting and if necessary using hand sanding close to skirting (its Edwardian original in two rooms so can't realistically be removed and replaced after sanding ). Two rooms currently have lino down which will need to be removed and the rest is all bare boards with carpets and underlay already taken up (saving for one small landing ) - however contractor will need to make the floor good and properly prep (e.g. removing latent grips if necessary) before sanding. I want a good proper and clean job done and I don't mind paying for it, but I need someone experienced who can guide him/her self.

Should be an easy task - the plumber needs to access the manhole and didn’t want to remove the decking boards. Boards are plastic / composite and have the torx decking screw head which need to be removed in sequence. Once removed, leave it for a few days while the plumber addresses the issue in the manhole and then return to replace the boards.
